Kelly joined Klehr & Mulligan, PLLC in 2022 after spending several years as a teacher in the Bloomington School District. She holds both a Bachelor’s Degree (2019) and a Master’s Degree (2020) in Education from the University of Minnesota. Growing up, Kelly was surrounded by the legal field—her father was a trial lawyer—which gave her early exposure to the world of depositions, expert witnesses, and courtroom proceedings. That foundation, combined with her teaching background, led her to pursue a career as a legal assistant.

Her experience as an educator sharpened her skills in organization, time management, and problem-solving—all of which she relies on daily to support clients and attorneys throughout the litigation process. Kelly enjoys helping the team tackle challenges and ensuring cases move smoothly.

Outside of work, Kelly spends most of her time with her husband, Joe, their two kids, Ella and Brooks, and their dog, Luka. She is proud to be part of the team at Klehr & Mulligan and to play a role in delivering quality support to the firm’s clients.
